Sip & Style Poolside Style
I'm so excited to be a part of a new series this month called Sip & Style with a lovely group of AZ style bloggers. Each month we will be sharing style inspiration and the cocktails we are sipping on. This month's Sip & Style is all about poolside style. If you are arriving here from Jenn's blog, The Body Type Stylist, welcome! I just adore her, and her poolside look this month is on point! I need her adorable swim cover up, STAT!
Great poolside style starts with a swimsuit and cover up that you're comfortable in and make you feel great. A flattering swimsuit can be hard to find, so make sure you try them on and try lots of different styles to find out which suits your body type best. You might be surprised.
I'm so glad pool season is here, because I can finally wear this pink scalloped one-piece suit that I've had for months. I paired it with a light-weight white embroidered tunic, a straw boater hat, gold gladiator lace-up sandals and pink reflective cat eye shades. I'm loving everything pineapple right now, so I'm also sharing the cuuuutest pineapple embellished straw tote and a frozen pineapple cocktail.
Now let's pair this poolside look with the perfect poolside sip! This month I've been making frozen Coco21 Pineapple drinks for poolside lounging. Coco21 Pineapple is coconut water, vodka and pineapple juice. I love to blend it with ice to make grown up pineapple slushies! Just blend equal parts of ice and Coco21, pour, garnish and serve. It's super easy and refreshing, which is why it's my favorite summer cocktail. It also happens to be a local AZ company, owned by one of my best friends, Brian Kaplan. You can find it at any Total Wine or grocery store in Arizona.
